It is regarded as the pioneer among the implement carriers for use in sloping terrain. The Aebi Terratrac – for 40 years the Swiss machine manufacturer has led the way when it comes to these agile two-axle models that are ideally suited for use on sloping terrain. In the Terratrac’s anniversary year, Aebi will now be presenting two new top models – the Aebi TT281 and the TT241 – at Agroalpin (10. – 13.11.) in Innsbruck (AT) and at AGRAMA (24. – 28.11.) in Bern (CH). More than ever before, both models are synonymous with efficiency, cost-effectiveness, safety and comfort – stepless of course.
Both the TT281 and the TT241 offer a persuasive choice with the best lifting forces, great manoeuvrability, high-torque engines, elegant design and an intuitive operating concept. A new generation of drive levers enables pinpoint and ultra-quick control of the instruments with just one finger! Changing direction quickly and easily without stopping is no problem at all. The new drive lever is optionally integrated with Smart Navigator in the armrest, thus allowing the driver to adopt a relaxed posture in any situation. Thanks to the intuitive control, all you need to do is jump on board and set off. There is no longer any need to spend hours studying instruction manuals. The display concept with an integrated day and night function has also been completely overhauled. Only information that is relevant to the current task in hand is displayed, for more comfort and clarity.
Comfortable in every detail
The driver can enjoy a comfortable cabin offering great visibility and plenty of space, automatic air conditioning as standard as well as useful detailed touches such as a mobile phone and bottle holder, document compartment and a general-purpose box. The vibration damping, which comes as standard, improves driving safety, increases driving comfort and protects the machine during rapid movements with implements attached. The front hydraulics can optionally accommodate attachments from categories I & II. An optional reversing gear delivers the greatest possible flexibility – easily and comfortably. The new Aebi TT281 and TT241 is also equipped with an electro-hydraulic dual-circuit clutch and a parking brake. Compact and extremely agile, the implement carriers for use on sloping terrain can be manoeuvred with ease, whether on challenging steep slopes or in flat open spaces. They are also great fun to drive! Last but not least, the ease of maintenance has also been improved. All the important components can be accessed very easily at any time.
Today’s buyer is also thinking of tomorrow.
As well as the high level of cost-effectiveness and performance capability, customers also benefit from the unbeatable way that the Aebi TT retains its value. The overall cost-effectiveness can be attributed among other factors to its high work rate, an efficient turbo diesel engine with Eco-Drive, the automatic feed regulation, intelligent couplings as well as state-of-the-art technology which adapts to the current application. For example, in Eco-Drive mode fuel consumption can be lowered by up to 20%. Thanks to the efficient use of energy, additional power is available for the drive and PTO shaft. Another plus point is the intelligent hydraulics system. This only consumes the amount of hydraulic oil that is required for the current application and reduces fuel consumption without any loss of performance. This is an advantage that pays off. The intensity of the fan of the cooler system is now also controlled using the thermal load of the vehicle – performance-related, depending on the demand. The advantage for the customer is there is more power available and less fuel consumption. The optional reversible fan also changes its direction of rotation during operation. This results in a self-cleaning cooling system and, as a result, more available power. This smart technology really is cool in the truest sense of the word – also or particularly for demanding tasks. Clever working does indeed also mean fully exploiting the potential for improvement.
The Aebi TT281 is equipped with a 109 hp (80 kW) category IV turbo diesel engine with Ad-Blue and 420 Nm of torque. In its little brother, the Aebi TT241, a category IIIB turbo diesel engine delivers powerful performance with 75 hp (55 kW) and 310 Nm of torque.
