Aebi celebrates 40 years of Terratrac
Special occasions deserve a special atmosphere. Where could the pioneer among the steep slope implement carriers, the Aebi Terratrac, celebrate its 40th anniversary better than on the historical area if “Rütli”, in the canton of Uri in Switzerland. Numerous invited guests, among them Peter Spuhler, majority shareholder of the ASH Group, followed the invitation of Aebi on 8th of November to celebrate the historic and also new Aebi Terratrac at the founding place of the old Swiss Confederation.

From the pioneer of the implement carrier for steep slopes – a new Aebi Terratrac celebrates its premiere
It is regarded as the pioneer among the implement carriers for use in sloping terrain. The Aebi Terratrac – for 40 years the Swiss machine manufacturer has led the way when it comes to these agile two-axle models that are ideally suited for use on sloping terrain. In the Terratrac’s anniversary year, Aebi will now be presenting two new top models – the Aebi TT281 and the TT241 – at Agroalpin (10. – 13.11.) in Innsbruck (AT) and at AGRAMA (24. – 28.11.) in Bern (CH). More than ever before, both models are synonymous with efficiency, cost-effectiveness, safety and comfort – stepless of course.

Aebi embarks on a new era with electric drive
If you always do what you already can do, you will always remain what you already are. As a pioneer of the implement carrier for use on sloping terrain, Aebi is therefore embarking on a new era with the EC170 and EC130 and is expanding the product range of CC, TT, TP and MT to include an agile, environmentally friendly, multi-talented machine which has powerful electric disc motors and can operate on the toughest terrain. The Aebi EC is a manned implement carrier (EC170) or unmanned implement carrier (EC130), with spring-loaded crawler tracks, 1,000 Nm of torque and a lifting force of 200 kg, which can be used on both slopes and flat surfaces.

2016 marks not only the 40th anniversary of the Aebi Terratrac but also an innovation in the class of double-axle implement carriers. At the GaLaBau held in Nuremberg from 14 to 17 September, Aebi will be presenting the Terratrac with the “autonomous driving” option, setting new standards in terms of flexibility, economic efficiency and safety.
